Fifth Harmony take celebrity tweets by Austin Mahone, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles and more to a new level.
Real talk: Celebrities singing tweets is far more fun than reading tweets by celebrities. (See: Josh Groban’s legendary singing of Kanye West’s tweets on “Jimmy Kimmel.” LONG LIVE the words: “Can we please toast to the motherf***ing douchebags?”)
So when rising pop stars and “X Factor” season 2 contestants Fifth Harmony visited the MTV offices, we couldn’t resist letting them go to town on a few famous Twitter feeds!
And, being the good sports they are, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui did a glorious job singing tweets by One Direction’s Harry Styles, Austin Mahone, “Jersey Shore” star Snooki, and more celebrities whose 140-character-length thoughts merited musicality.

Singing tweets by everyone from actor Jonah Hill to Jimmy Kimmel to Kendrick Lamar (and then some), the “Miss Movin’ On” singers gamely put their own spin on, well, the social media musings of some well-known celebs.
Starting with actor Jonah Hill, the ladies sang-wondered, “I’m sick in bed, what should I watch?” And as for Snooki’s morning musings, the ladies chirped, “Early birdies get the wormies!”
I'm sick in bed what should I watch?

Even better, Harry Styles’ “I like fields” comment aptly got set to the tune of “The Sound Of Music.” (Let’s everybody pause for a sec to picture Harry spinning, arms outstretched in the Austrian Alps.)
I like fields.

Inexplicably and adorable, Jimmy Kimmel’s salute to not wearing shorts got the “Defying Gravity” treatment from the musical “Wicked.”
from hereon out, let not wearing underwear be known as NONEDERPANTS!

Lastly, and perhaps most crucially, the girls chimed in for a five-part harmony on Austin Mahone’s tweet: “Gooooood morning everyone I think I might drive myself to ihop this morning! Cuz I can do that now.” Um, all in??
Goooooooooodmorning everyone ???? I think I might drive myself to ihop this morning! cuz I can do that now.
