Solange solo dances around an abandoned mall in her "Lovers In The Parking Lot" video.
Another day, another reason to lose our minds over pop-R&B priestess Solange. Seriously, what is the Knowles family doing to us?! Is there nothing they can't do?? (Rhetorical question -- don't answer that.) Well, I guess one thing's for sure: They do know how to keep us waiting (looking at you, Beyoncé).
Almost a year after releasing her True EP single "Lovers In The Parking Lot," Solange has finally dropped an equally stunning video, which, like her earlier "Losing You" clip, captures beauty in an unlikely place. P.S. Sorry, did I say "stunning"? I meant "falling all over myself with style jealousy" and "why did I ever quit dance class."
Watch Solange's "Lovers In The Parking Lot" video after the jump.
The video was directed by Solange, Peter J. Brant, and Emily Kai Bock, and produced by the Creators Project. Filmed in her hometown of Houston, the minimalist "Lovers In The Parking Lot" has the younger Knowles sister doing everything she does best: looking fierce in a variety of glow-in-the-dark outfits, nonchalantly solo dancing around an abandoned shopping center (which kinda reminds us of Robyn's "Call Your Girlfriend" choreography), and just generally looking cooler and more confident than any of us ever will (but we can certainly try). Fall in love with Solange again below.
