Cher Lloyd’s “I Wish” gets a solo makeover.
Here in pop music land, we’re generally accustomed to solo songs coming out before their remixes, which might typically feature blazing verses by various hip-hop titans. (See: Mariah Carey’s “Heartbreaker” featuring Jay-Z, Katy Perry’s “E.T.” featuring Kanye West, and Mariah Carey and Miguel’s “#Beautiful,” eventually featuring A$AP Rocky.)

Stripped of T.I.’s ad-libs and his full verse, Cher’s solo “I Wish” admittedly sounds pretty similar to the track’s earlier version. But don’t worry: Cher’s still begging her magic genie for “style,” “flash,” “a butt,” and “a rack.” But we’ll never know why! Cher’s always been a complete dime piece (see: her “hot goth girl” look in “With Ur Love“) who could pretty much obtain whatever body part she wanted (ew, sounds weird).
But if it’s a little more butt she’s after, maybe we could trade Cher a dash of our tuchus for a little bit of her “flash.” And also maybe some of our “rack” in exchange for her INCREDIBLY SHINY hair. Just your run-of-the-mill business transaction!
Be on the lookout for “I Wish” when it appears on Cher’s sophomore full-length album, dropping sometime later this year.
