Emblem3 recruit some unpopular girls for a special concert in their "Chloe (You're The One That I Want)" video.
So, you might remember Emblem3 from when they took fourth place in the third season of "The X Factor." Or perhaps you'll remember their personalized "Going Back To Cali" tour bus diary? Well, however you know them, we're DEFINITELY betting that their rap/sing/boy band hit "Chloe (You're The One That I Want)" will TOP your summer jamz list now that the single's official music video has dropped. Also: Is anyone else getting a total LFO vibe here? (We mean that in the best way possible, because, hello, "Summer Girls" STILL wins at every pool party we've ever been to.)
Watch Emblem3's "Chloe (You're The One That I Want) video after the jump!
First off, we just need to say that Emblem3's "Chloe (You're The One That I Want" lyric video was totally misleading! Here we thought we'd be getting a California dreaming-style montage with tons of sunbathing surfers or something ('cause that's the only type of person who lives in Cali, right?), but instead the trio's Ray Kay-directed live-action video follows a group of unpopular girls who are recruited to be part of a secret "Chloe" club. And not only is this "Chloe Club" the object of Emblem3's affection ("You're the one I want"), they also get VIP treatment at a private Emblem3 concert! No popular girls allowed!
Interpret this clip however you like, but WE think that "Chloe" is a friendly reminder that being a nice, grounded person (ie. not a postmillennial version of "Heathers") essentially means getting into free boy band concerts. Now, excuse us while we try to legally change our names to "Chloe."
