Watch Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Saved By The Bell”-inspired “This Kiss” lyric video.
Carly Rae Jepsen’s been a busy lady! Just this week alone, she’s already dueted with — wait for it — Harvey Keitel, and now she’s unleashed the lyric video for her latest record, “This Kiss.” Pardon us, did we say lyric video? Because we actually meant a nostalgia-conjuring tribute to our favorite after-school pastime/the very best show to air on television, EVER: “Saved By The Bell!”
Watch the lyric video for Carly Rae Jepsen’s “This Kiss” after the jump.
In what can only be considered a brilliant career move, Carly’s lyric video channels the opening credits to “Saved By The Bell” (not to mention a general feeling of happiness we all felt in the ’90s). In a perfect world, Carly’s “This Kiss” video would be a reenactment of Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski’s first kiss at The Max, but based on the video teaser and this amazing photo of CRJ in dominatrix-esque boots, we’re thinking that’s probably not the case. You and I both know we’ll most likely be obsessed with the video either way, though.
