Brace yourselves y'all: Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together. Musically speaking, that is. Rumors began swirling that Rihanna and Chris Brown were headed for a musical reconciliation when Grammy-nominated production duo Da Internz hinted that Rihanna's forthcoming "Birthday Cake (Remix)" would shock the world. "We got the Rihanna 'Birthday Cake' coming out in a week... and the feature on there is gonna shock the world," Kosine told MTV News.
Dude was right -- we're pretty effing shocked. Yesterday, Rihanna boldly confirmed rumors that Chris Brown is, in fact, the guest spot on her controversial "Cake" remix. She retweeted her former flame's tweet and added: "#RihannaNavy Come and put ya name on it!!!!! RT @chrisbrown: @rihanna YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!"

Co-produced by The-Dream and Da Internz the extended version of the already scandalous Talk That Talk track features Brown's sultry vocals who admits he, uhh, misses hanging out with his ex: "Girl, I wanna f*** you right now/Been a long time, I've been missing your body." Um, we'll just let you guys stew over that one for a minute.
We don't quite know what this means when it comes to the status of their romantic relationship or even their friendship, but Rihanna also lent her vocals to a remix of Chris' latest, "Turn Up The Music," so we know they've probably exchanged a text or two by now. Hey, it's a free country, these are both grown adults and they're allowed to do whatever they please. But we can't say we're the only ones who are just a tad wary of this whole situation.
