'The Voice' runner-up Dia Frampton covers Lana Del Rey's 'Video Games.'
Season 2 of "The Voice" premiered last night on NBC, so what better time to check in with Dia Frampton, last season's runner-up? Though Dia lost out to Season 1 winner Javier Colon, she's been hustling hard to put out some great tuneage, the latest of which is her take on Lana Del Rey's "Video Games." Though Dia is currently on tour, she found some free time put her own spin on Lana's hit. Dia tweeted: "Day off. A good day to do a cover of @LanaDelRey." On my day off I grocery shop and do laundry, but moving on...
Dia's take on "Video Games" is simple and straightforward. Accompanied only by a guitar, Dia's crystal clear tone complements the mysterious and lilting nature of the original. And in true Frampton fashion, Dia manages to infuse a bit of her signature folk sound into the cover, transforming Lana's pop-saturated original into more of a singer-songwriter ballad.

Sure, there are already 80 bazillion Lana Del Rey covers floating around the internetz, but we highly recommend you check out Dia's version anyway. A word to the wise: You might want to brew up some of that Maxwell House International while you listen. This ish is relaxing as hell.
