+ Demi Lovato performed "Give Your Heart A Break" at the PCAs before accepting her award for Favorite Pop Artist. "The nominees that I was up against are people that I look up to and aspire to be one day, and I won this award because of my fans," she said. (MTV News)

+ Kelly Clarkson has been tapped to sing the National Anthem during Super Bowl XLVI. Miranda Lambert and hubby Blake Shelton are slated to perform "America The Beautiful," and Madonna takes on halftime duties. Oh, there will also be football. (MTV News)

+ Nicki Minaj is the most-followed rapper on Twitter, with Eminem coming in second. She's also been added to perform at the Grammys; it'll be her first time. Other announced performers include Foo Fighters and Jason Aldean. (Rap-Up)

+ Blue Ivy's accomplishing more in a few days of living than many of us have thus far. Granted, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's child has a bit of a leg up in the sound department. She's the youngest person to grace a Billboard chart, with her dad's tune "Glory." (Billboard)
