You know when you’re getting ready for a big night out, and you’re putting your makeup on, listening to Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” on repeat, and imagining all the troublesome fun you’re going to get into? But then the next thing you know, you’re waking up at 2 p.m. the next day at your friend’s house and all you have to show for the previous evening is an open-faced taco in your purse. And you can’t find one of your shoes! Welp, you would probably not be invited to Outasight’s Friday evening festivities. Singer Richard Andrew parties it up RIGHT in his latest video “Tonight Is The Night.” By “right” I mean classy-style, and with models.
Set to his soul and hip-hop-inspired pop track, “Tonight Is The Night” features the New York-ness of the beginning montage of “Saturday Night Live” combined with the subtle coolness of a street-style blog. Everyone is good-looking and dressed really well, and if they are completely inebriated possibly not sober, they look a lot better than I do during such activities. P.S. Outasight, do your parties always end with people running around with sparklers in the street? If so, can you send me a Facebook invite next time?
Following his April 2011 release of his mixtape “Figure 8,” Outasight is set to release his debut full-length album in the coming months. Catch him on tour through 2012.
