The 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards nominees have been announced! And this year, Canadian Justin Bieber, American Katy Perry and Martian Lady Gaga lead the EMA nominees.

The 2011 MTV EMA take place Nov. 6 in Belfast, Ireland, but good news, U.S. and Canadian fans! You can cast your vote for Best Worldwide Act North American, where Katy Perry, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Lil Wayne and Britney Spears are battling it out for Best Worldwide Act in the ENTIRE CONTINENT. Voting is open until Oct. 23, at which point the artist with the most votes will battle other regional artists for world supremacy. Kinda like a SUPER-DUPERstar version of brackets.
