For a woman who owns not one but at least three Cruella de Vil wigs, has worn eyeballs PAINTED ONTO THE OUTSIDE OF HER ACTUAL EYES, paraded around in horns as effortlessly as most of us wear flip-flops and came to the 2011 MTV VMAS COMPLETELY AND VERY CONVINCINGLY DRESSED LIKE A GUY, it's hard to say what the real Lady Gaga really looks like. But perhaps this is really the real Lady Gaga, shown here on the October 2011 cover of Harper's Bazaar, which hits newsstands Sept. 27.
On the Bazaar cover, we've got Lady Gaga -- likely presented as her Nymph alter ego, as seen in her "Haus of Ü" fashion film -- wearing little more than Chapstick and perhaps a swipe or two of mascara. And some quite excellent moisturizer, because Gaga seems to be aging in reverse. And sure, she's probably wearing a wig, but wigs are to Gaga what undies are to you and I, assuming you wear underwear regularly (and you should).
While Lady Gaga, who today announced that she's joining the Sept. 11 "I Will" campaign, went bare on the cover, inside the magazine, she reveals even more of herself, saying, “Even when I was a kid, I used to run around naked with the babysitter, driving her crazy.” And speaking of looking good naked, Gaga also discusses staying in shape: “I do yoga, I do Bikram and I run, and I eat really healthy. You know, my work sort of feeds me. I keep in shape by working hard.” (And we stay in shape by blogging about how you stay in shape. And by "we," I mean "I," and by "staying in shape," I mean "eating M&Ms at my desk.")
