New Video: Big Time Rush, 'If I Ruled The World'

This might seem like it's out of left field, but Big Time Rush's "If I Ruled The World" video is totally like Selena Gomez's "Love You Like A Love Song" video, guys. No, the BTR clip doesn't feature any dudes serenading them on the beach with sitars (unfortch), but what it does have in common with Sel's video is time travel, and lots of it.

At first, the video kind of looks like NBD as the Big Time Rush boys are shown in a recording studio laying down vocals per the usual. But soon enough the precocious pop stars are space-hopping all over the place. Their first stop on "Tour De Earth" (we named it that, send royalty checks) is a Hawaiian beach fully decked with hula girls. Next they make a cameo at the gates of Buckingham Palace, drop by the Taj Mahal and then swing back around for a pit stop at a cool temple probably somewhere in China. These boys would have aced my Advanced Themes English class.

At the end of the video, all the people Big Time Rush met along the way come together for a huge dance party on the beach ('cause why not?) only to then be left by the guys who find themselves right back where they started -- in the studio. So basically "If I Ruled The World" is like a G-rated David Lynch film but without the unsettling "I need to take a shower" feeling after.
