By now we all know that Gwyneth Paltrow has been making her way inch by inch into the musical arena: She starred in the movie "Country Strong," where she played a country singer; she's had a recurring guest spot on "Glee"; and she sang "Forget You" with Cee Lo in front of a worldwide audience at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

People have had some super harsh pretty varied reactions to her new singing endeavors, so all you critics better brace yourselves for this one -- Gwyneth is covering Adele's stunning song "Turning Tables" in an upcoming episode of "Glee." Run for cover, Gwyn.

Even thinking about covering Adele could be seen as a suicide mission risky move in some circles, because lots of people think Adele has, like, the greatest voice ever in the history of mankind (Beyonce included). So you at least have to give the GOOP girl props for attempting to cover "Turning Tables," right? Plus, as it turns out, Gywn's version isn't bad! Seriously. Sure, maybe it's not as soulful or expressive as Adele's take on the song, but in Gwyneth Paltrow's defense, Adele could sing the alphabet and still have people huddled in the corner in the fetal position. We'll go ahead and say it -- swell job, Gwyn.
