Hopefully, you haven't forgotten about the tragic events that recently rattled Japan because Katy Perry sure hasn't, seeing as she's participating in an auction where the money raised goes directly toward the Red Cross’s earthquake and tsunami aid efforts. So what's she auctioning off? It was just reported by Ace Showbiz that Katy's anted up her cupcake trampoline, which was used on the California Dreams Tour, and has already bypassed $1,600 in bids.
In addition, Katy's labelmates Chris Martin (of Coldplay) and Lady Antebellum have donated a limited-edition Viva La Vida jacket and signed acoustic guitar, respectively. 30 Seconds To Mars, The Chemical Brothers and Good Charlotte have also contributed backstage tickets to their upcoming concerts, which is awesomely generous.
Putting all those great auctions aside, how is a cupcake trampoline not being purchased for a bajillion dollars? Not only is the money going to an extremely worthy and important cause, but it's a CUPCAKE TRAMPOLINE... and Katy Perry has jumped on it!! In other words: Place your bids, people!
