Wiz Khalifa, Sleigh Bells, Two Door Cinema Club And Odd Future To Perform At The 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards

The 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards are coming live and direct from the annual South By Southwest Music Festival, so if you expected a pretty healthy lineup of live music to go along with the doling out of Woodies Awards, then prepare to have your expectations exceeded.

This year's mtvU Woodie Awards will feature live performances from a eclectic group of performers who range from No. 1 hitmakers to electro-rock rabble rousers and elegant pop perfectionists. Check out the 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards performer lineup.

+ Wiz Khalifa: Wiz Khalifa has the most popular (and most hypnotic) song in the country with "Black and Yellow," is nominated for a Woodie of the Year Award and is pretty much everyone's favorite rapper.

+ Sleigh Bells: This Breaking Woodie-nominated New York electro-rock duo are capable of bringing the house down. Need proof? Check out their "Live In NYC" performance!

+ Two Door Cinema Club: Adding a little refined pop elegance to the proceedings is this Irish indie-pop trio known for their irresistible melodics and lush layers. Two Door Cinema Club is also nominated for a Breaking Woodie.

+ Odd Future: Or Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) as they are officially (and terrifyingly) known. Possibly the scariest, most exciting, most unnerving, most thrilling hip-hop group to emerge since Wu-Tang Clan. These Cali teenagers are dropping jaws everywhere with their dense, disturbing sound. Don't believe us? Check out MTV News' bus ride to Philly with Odd Future.

And that's not all. mtvU Woodie Awards will be handed out by presenters Matt & Kim, Lupe Fiasco, Dev, Chiddy Bang, Skylar Grey and MTV’s Liz Lee from “My Life as Liz."

The 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards will be broadcast live during the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, March 16, at midnight ET on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU.
