Not to make you reach for the Polident, but can you believe it’s been 13 years since Britney Spears first hit the scene with “Baby… One More Time”?! 13 years, guys!! That’s like, a whole dog’s life! Second-graders who were performing Britney’s dance moves in their Girl Scout uniforms are now legally of age to consume alcohol (and probably still performing Britney’s dance moves).
What I’m getting at is that mucho time has passed, and we’ve had the pleasure of watching Britney Spears Drive Us Crazy, Slave 4 Us, and take us to the “Circus.” And she’s looked fantastic doing all of it.
Our friends over at Idolator put together a photo gallery of some of the most popular Britney Spears photo shoot moments, and we’re giving you the link because we’re nice people. Here are a few of our favorites:
Idolator picked this cover of Esquire from 2003 as their No. 1 best Britney Spears photo shoot moment, and we have to say it’s a stellar choice. Pardon my French, but dayum, girl! The Marilyn Monroe ’do, the sexy, sly look, the absence of pants… This photo is a top-to-bottom win.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about the photo that started it all. Remember the outrage from this 1999 Rolling Stone photo shoot? Everyone was all, “Teen sensation Britney Spears — Bad influence? Oversexualized at 18? Totally effing hot?” Yes, yes, and yes–the holy trinity of a bona fide pop queen.
