"The USO Presents: VH1 Divas Salute The Troops," broadcast last night on VH1, was a patriotic musical spectacular. Featuring performances by Katy Perry, Paramore, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Sugarland, and hosted by Kathy Griffin, the show was a stylish salute to the men and women serving in the armed forces.

For a cause as altruistic and important as celebrating our troops, the gals involved in the show broke out all the stops. The night glittered with memorable performances. Newcomers Grace Potter & The Nocturnals practically stole the show from their more well known coperformers, bringing down the house a cover of Heart's "Crazy On You," featuring none other than Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart.

Other highlights included Katy Perry's performance of "Teenage Dream," her cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," with Nicki Minaj, and Paramore's awesome rendering of "Decode."
