One of the most compelling things about Lady Gaga's fame is the company she keeps. Rather than getting snapped leaving the same clubs at the same late hours with the same collection of folks who constantly find themselves plastered all over tabloids, Lady Gaga has made a habit out of bringing together the pop and avant-garde worlds.
Just take what Lady Gaga did this weekend as an example. The "Bad Romance" singer donned a semitransparent, sequined catsuit, which looked like it was covered in hybrid spiderwebs and fish scales, and took to the stage with Yoko Ono and her Plastic Ono Band for a performance at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre. The concert was held as a kind of celebration for what would have been the 70th birthday of Ono's late husband, John Lennon of The Beatles.
