MTV P.U.S.H. Artist Of The Week: Neon Trees

This week's P.U.S.H. (Play Until Someone Hears) featured artist is Neon Trees. After catching the ear of The Killers' Brandon Flowers, the Utah band joined Mr. Brightside's band on the road, making a name for themselves as formidable live performers.

Since then they've caught a lot more ears with their smart, surging single "Animal." It's a new-wave love song with a chorus meant to be sung out of your car window all summer long.

What else should you know about Neon Trees? Well, they're fans of Lady Gaga, they're influenced by The Cure, The Psychedelic Furs and other classic '80s bands, and if they're not already on your radar, then they should be.

Let Neon Trees into your world in the videos below. Watch the band introduce themselves and take you on a behind-the-scenes look at their "Animal" video shoot. And see how Tim Burton's "Batman" influenced the band.
