If you're a celebrity, it must be nice to look in your address book and see the contact information for other celebrities. Hell, when I look in my address book, the most famous person I have is the guitar tech from Sugarcult — and I think he changed his number three years ago.
Anywho, I thought it would be fun to compile a list of the top celeb-filled videos. I can only imagine the kind of high-powered Rolodexes involved in making cameos like these happen! Bonus points if you can call out who's-who in each video. Time to flex your star-sighting muscles!
"Liberian Girl" by Michael Jackson: Jackson was never one to scrimp on music-video budgets and judging from the amount of cameos in this clip, I can't even imagine what the acting bill looked like. Watch out for appearances by Beverly Johnson, Sherman Hemsley, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Brigitte Nielsen and Paula Abdul — and that's just in the first 44 seconds!
"We Are All Made Of Stars" by Moby: From the look of this star-packed video, the song should've been renamed "Look At All The Celebrity Friends I Have In My Address Book."
"Everything" by A Cursive Memory: To snag photo ops from celebs like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, A Cursive Memory crashed a butt-load of red carpet events, making them the enemy of paparazzi everywhere. Plus, it's good to know that if Jerry Springer ever loses his talk show, he'll fall back on being a video backup dancer. Watch the clip and see what we mean.
"Rockstar" by Nickelback: Sure, this video boasts appearances by Gene Simmons and Kid Rock, but my favorite cameo has to be the lovely Riki Lindhome from the musical comedy duo Garfunkel And Oates. Yeah, I said it. ("Sh+t just got real!")
"Blame It" by Jamie Foxx: Amid hot actresses kissing, Jake Gyllenhaal raising his glass of champagne and Samuel L. Jackson sitting motionless while overstuffed with some girl's boobs in his face, the only thing that seems like it didn't make it into this clip was Ron Howard busting out the cabbage patch on the dance floor.
