Hey, remember the summer Olympics? Wow, it seems like only yesterday we were watching Michael Phelps flapping those enormous flippers he calls feet to a record eight gold medals, but it was way back in August. How time flies.
Anyway, about a month before the Olympics, the Goo Goo Dolls released an inspirational single via iTunes. And while it didn't show up on the Greatest Hits Volume Two: B-sides & Rarities set that they released in August, it was part of the AT&T USA Olympic Team soundtrack.
And now there's a video for the song, too. At first, you had to be a member of the band's Inner Machine fan club to see it, but now we've got it too, so watch it below and realize that if you truly loved them you'd join the fan club.
PS: According to their official website, the Goos are in the studio recording material for a brand new album. No clue as to when it'll see the light of day, but if it contains more of those Johnny Rzeznik-sung anthems, we'll be listening.
