Looks like Spice Girls Version 4.0 (recall, if you will, Michelle Stephenson, the fifth Beatle to a pre-Posh Spice Girls) took a cue from Christina Aguilera's World War II-style "Candyman" video. The re-upped fivesome kicked off their official world tour last night in L.A. at the taping of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, where Kanye West was also scheduled to perform but backed out due to death of his mother, Dr. Donda West, who was memorialized today in Chicago.
Last night's show, which airs Dec. 4 on CBS, featured will.i.am stepping in for Kanye West, Ryan Seacrest declaring his love for Plastic-Passion... er... Posh (awk-ward alert!), Heidi Klum's boobs jacked up to her ears, and dolphin-happy Hayden Panettiere and rocker-turned-author Slash in the audience. And while we were seriously hoping for the resurrection of some bedazzled Union Jack ensembles, we'll accept SG 4.0 dressed like Enola Gay strippers. Don't forget to buy your war bonds, ladies!
