'Full House': Uncle Joey Unintentionally Played Matchmaker For D.J. Tanner Back In The Day

Wow, the Tanners really do keep it in the family.

As the "Fuller House" squad continues filming the highly-anticipated Netflix series, cast member Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) shared this fun pic on Instagram — and reminisced about how HE was the person who introduced Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner) to her now-husband Valeri Bure, a former NHL hockey player.

Coulier captioned the photo, "#tbt When @candacecbure husband @valbure gave me this after I introduced them to each other.❤️"

The Uncle Joey-as-inadvertent-matchmaker info was shared in Lifetime's "Unauthorized Full House Story." As Bustle pointed out, Coulier was "participating in a hockey game for charity in 1995...and he invited the whole cast to come watch the game. It was there that Candace Cameron met Valeri Bure."

Bure told The Huffington Post back in 2014 about the hockey stick, and how the two lovebirds were engaged in less than a year after first meeting.

Now married for almost 20 years, Candace and Valeri have three children, and she's definitely never forgotten the man who helped make it all happen.

"Happy birthday to the man who introduced me to my husband. I love you @dcoulier ❤️," wrote Bure.

See, D.J.? Things do get better!
