On Monday night's (Oct. 5) episode, the singer takes center stage as she performs the Patsy Cline classic "I Fall To Pieces" at a hoedown where Karma and Amy are faking it again and Shane is trying to get over his breakup with Duke.
Jacquie does have experience on television, being that she was discovered on "The Voice," but as the singer told us, this was nothing like reality TV.
"It's funny because when I went into it, I was like, 'I got this,' because I came from a reality TV show, so I thought I would be used to the vibe," she said. "But surprisingly, it was a lot different. It was so chill. Everyone was hanging out and joking around. It was really fun."
Jacquie also got to bond with the cast members, especially Katie Stevens [Karma], with whom she had "a lot to talk about" since she was contestant in 2009 on "American Idol."
But it wasn't all fun and games on set. There was a big unexpected problem: torrential rain.
"In the middle of recording one of the scenes, it started torrential down-pouring and the scene we were filming was a hoedown, so we were in a barn area and the rain started to leak in through the ceiling and started flooding the floor," she said. "So needless to say, we had to take five."
Despite the rain, Jacquie's first impressions of a hoedown weren't ruined, in fact, she's ready to go back for more "because I loved it."
Tune in to see Jacquie perform on "Faking It" airing tonight at 9:30 p.m. EST on MTV.
