The chappy Sam Smith-Disclosure bromance is reaching epic levels of adorable at this point.

The EDM duo launched their Caracal album tour in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (Sept. 29) night -- their first EVER arena show, BTW, so 'grats -- and they started out with a big bang indeed as their old mate "Latch"-ed on to the stage to help get his mates started on a high note.

Smith, who's collaborated with Disclosure on several hits, including his "Spectre" theme song "Writing's On the Wall," surprised the L.A. audience by performing a few of their signature numbers together.

First, there was "Omen," the tune that reunited the English trio this summer and assured us all that, phew, post-vocal cord surgery, Sam Smith's just as smooth and swoony at the mic as ever.

And of course they hit "Latch" too because that was the original beat that brought these boys together and also LOVEEEEE.

Afterwards, Sam wrote that he felt "very honoured to have been on stage with two of my favorite people" at the show, and Disclosure offered their old chum some "big love" in return.

In other news, we can expect a proper music video for "Writing's On the Wall" to drop soon(ish?) because Sam shared a teaser snippet of the vid on Wednesday (Sept. 30).

The brief preview glimpse shows him waltzing into a giant columned porch with what appear to be several British flag-draped coffins lined up, wearing a dour expression that says "SAD. Lots of sad, guys. And also mad."

This certainly fits with the ~mood~ of Smith's song, which contains the gloomy lyrics "How do I live? How do I breathe?/When you're not here I'm suffocating/I want to feel love, run through my blood/Tell me is this where I give it all up?/For you I have to risk it all/Cause the writing's on the wall."

The writing IS on the wall that we're going to probably need to invest in the industrial sized Kleenex box before we watch that one because HEAVY.
