It's not uncommon for girl groups and boy bands to take some time off or even take a break from making music.
It happened to the Spice Girls, 'NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys -- and it's even happening to One Direction sometime next year. But could Fifth Harmony be the next musical group to experience the same fate? Well, according to Camila Cabello, eventually, it could happen.
“Honestly, I think we all do," she said when asked by Latina magazine if she thought the group would spilt. "We’d be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it’s harder.”
Which is why Camila totally understands where one Direction are coming from saying in the magazine that "sometimes it gets to a point where they just need to express themselves."
"We allow one another to do our own thing within this thing," Camila said. "I think it’s healthy because if not, personally, I would go insane."
The girls are currently working on their next album and are "really, really excited" about it. So don't worry, because this 5H break isn't happening anytime soon.
