Paul Erven Jackson Accused Of Torturing Two Young Women In Oregon

On the run for more than two decades, Jackson, 45, was arrested in his hotel room in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Monday thanks to tips received after CNN highlighted his case on an episode of "The Hunt with John Walsh" in July. Living in Mexico under an assumed name, Jackson was arrested for his part in the 1990 kidnapping and torture of two young prostitutes, which he undertook with his older brother, Vance Roberts. The brothers' mother bailed them out and both disappeared, with Roberts surrendering in 2006 and receiving a 108-year prison sentence.

More Than 100 Killed At Wedding In Yemen During Airstrike

Authorities say at least 131 people were killed when an airstrike hit a wedding in Yemen on Monday. The incident took place when the Saudi Arabian-led coalition fighting Shiite rebels known as Houthis targeted the wedding party of a man linked to the Houthis by accident; Saudi forces said they were not responsible for the error, but officials in Yemen acknowledged the mistake. The incident is one of the deadliest attack involving civilians in Yemen since March, when Houthi fighters forced the country's president to leave the nation.

Planned Parenthood Boss To Face Conservatives In Congress In Hearing

With Congress poised to avoid a government shutdown over plans to defund PP, the House is expected to discuss the creation of a select committee to investigate allegations that PP members discussed selling fetal tissue and organs for profit in heavily edited undercover videos recorded by anti-abortion activists. Meanwhile, Missouri's attorney general announced on Monday that an investigation found no evidence that PP's St. Louis clinic mishandled fetal tissue or did anything illegal.
