Kanye West And Travi$ Scott Are 'Plotting' Something Big

Here are seven guesses for their mystery collab.

Guys, Kanye West and Travi$ Scott are up to something.

A day after uniting onstage during ‘Ye’s headlining set at Summer’s End Musical Festival in Tempe, Ariz., the G.O.O.D. cohorts are teasing a long-brewing collaboration.

“Travis x kanye Soon,” Travi$ wrote on Instagram Monday (Sept. 28), followed by “WE GOT SOMETHING WE BEEN PLOTTING FOR YEARS NOW THATS ABOUT TO SURFACE.” The first photo shows the pair onstage together, while the second is a drawing of them performing.

Needless to say, our heads are swirling with the possibilities of what Yeezy and La Flame — two of the most polarizing and intriguing artists today — could cook up together. This is a duo that’s proved time and time again they can make fire — just see their experimental, hellish grooves on “Piss on Your Grave” from Travi$' Rodeo, or the Houston rapper's contribution on Kanye’s rambunctious banger “All Day.”

Here’s what we think are the most likely possibilities for this mysterious collaboration:

  1. A joint tour.

Getting these guys on the road together seems like a no-brainer: they’re electric onstage, both together and in their own rights. It’s no secret that Travi$ likes his live shows lit; he wants rowdiness and hype. That, paired with Kanye’s penchant for meticulous live artistry, would make for one hell of a can’t-miss show.

  2. A tour involving Rihanna.

Earlier this year, rumors of a Kanye-Rihanna tour started circulating. Could Travi$ be involved with that somehow? It would make sense, considering ‘Ye and Rih both have long-gestating albums in the works that they’ll likely tour behind and that could drop at any minute. And because, you know, Rihanna and Travi$ may or may not be together.

  3. An album or mixtape.

Hot on the heels of Drake and Future’s What A Time To Be Alive, fans are in collab-thirsty mode. Travi

  4. A Swish track.

When MTV News caught up with Travi$ earlier this year, he hesitantly but clearly admitted he’s involved with Kanye’s upcoming solo LP. “He doesn’t like when people speak on this album, but yes, I can say I’m involved with the album, for sure,” he told us. Whether as a producer or a guest we don’t yet know, but maybe we’ll be getting a Travis-featuring taste of Swish soon?

  5. A fashion collab.

Admittedly, we kinda hope it’s not this. But Travi

  6. A video for “Piss On Your Grave.”

Even though we’re kind of hoping for something fresh from whatever this secret project is, a vid for their most recent collab isn’t out of the realm of possibility. And actually, judging by the track’s experimental, eccentric vibes, we’d kind of love to see the visual treatment they’d whip up for it.

  7. A presidential ticket.

We're only half kidding about this one. Travi$ did tell us he thinks Kanye is “one of the best leaders of our generation,” so he’ll obviously stand behind his mentor if he does follow through with that whole #Kanye2020 promise. That’s a long time away, though, and while we’re sure Travi$ would make a damn fine VP, let’s just hope this mysterious project comes to light way, way sooner than that.

second Instagram pic DID kind of look like a sketch, with them wearing similar, navy-colored clothes (and we all know how ‘Ye feels about color coordination). Let’s just wish it’s something a little more exciting. [/item]
