Today In WTF: Jon Hamm Is Guest Starring On 'Spongebob Squarepants'

Don Grouper is gonna see who lives in a pineapple under the sea.

For those taking notes, Donald Draper is still charismatic AF with gills.

Following his arguably overdue Emmy win, Jon Hamm is taking his career-making "Mad Men" alterego for a swim on "Spongebob Squarepants."

According to Vulture, the character -- still as swashbuckling and slippery as ever, of course -- will be called Don Grouper and will serve as a source of business counsel for the yellow sponge and his oh-so-greedy boss Mr. Krabs.

The episode featuring Hamm is expected to air in 2016 -- and since even in cartoon form he'll be donning his usual swagger suit and grin, he'll be easy to spot.

Note: Even though "Mad Men" is probably far too advanced for the "Squarepants" demographic, that hasn't stopped 'em from joining forces with kiddie programs before. Draper was also given the puppetry treatment on "Sesame Street" back in 2009.

Now even the non-babysitting crowd'll have a reason to tune into all the "nautical nonsense."
