Charlie Puth’s ‘One Call Away’ Is Your New Long Distance Relationship Anthem

Now they have a 'little musical reminder.'

Superman has got nothing on Charlie Puth...at least that's what Puth sings about in his new song "One Call Away." And after watching the video, it's definitely true.

We are used to seeing Charlie teaming up with another artist (Wiz Khalifa, "See You Again," Meghan Trainor, "Marvin Gaye") and now the singer is showing us what he can do on his own. The college romance-themed clip is beyond cute and romantic as Charlie does his best to win the heart of a fellow student.

The video paints a perfect picture of the mid-tempo, heartfelt song, which he has to thank his good friend for, since he was the inspiration.

"My friend was talking to me about his long distance relationship and how it breaks his heart that he can't see his girlfriend every day, so I wanted to make an anthem for everyone in a long distance relationship or just someone they haven't seen in awhile is just one call away," Charlie recently told us. "Now they have a little musical reminder."

The song will be featured on Charlie's upcoming album, Nine Track Mind (November 6), which he says will invite fans into his bedroom...literally.

"I didn't record this record in a big fancy studio. I literally made it in my bedroom," he said. "I want people to hear it and hear the noise in the background of the microphone, you can hear the blender in one track. I didn't take it out because I wanted it to be as personal as possible, so I want them to hear it and be like, I can do that."
