Miley Cyrus Apparently Settles Twitter Beefs With Blankies

According to Evan Rachel Wood.

Evan Rachel Wood is inarguably a standout in the social media game, bringing personality to the web and interacting directly with fans. But with that can come beef. The actress is at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting "Into the Forest," in which she stars alongside Ellen Page.

When asked by MTV News about her Twitter tips, Wood said that she loves social media, calling it "just fun."

"It's nice to finally have a place to have a voice where people can't just talk about you and write about you and you can't do anything about it," she said. "And I think it's a cool way to let people know a little bit more about your personality and get to know you a little better."

And as for the slight Twitter beef with Miley Cyrus -- Wood tweeted and then deleted in 2012 that a newly pixie-cutted Cyrus was "leaning toward gay" -- they're cool now.

"That was such a misunderstanding," Wood said. "Everyone thought that I meant it as an insult when I really meant it as a compliment, and I was right! So there you go."

"We have met and Miley actually after that contacted me and was just so incredibly sweet and send me a blanket when my kid was born. We're all good."
