The 'Fuller House' Episode Of 'Full House' Will Perfectly Prepare You For 'Fuller House'

Try saying that five times fast.

So, you're waiting for "Fuller House" to hurry up and get here. Great news! It's already here! Sort of!

The Netflix revival of "Full House" hasn't arrived just yet, but there's an episode of the original series called "Fuller House," and it's a classic, loaded up with all the honest misunderstandings and heartfelt resolutions you would expect from the Tanner family. The season four episode is the perfect 20-minute primer for how you can start mentally and emotionally prepping yourself for the "Full House" reboot. For instance…

1. It's about family breakups.

Uncle Jesse and Becky are back from their honeymoon in Bora Bora ("It was beautiful beautiful!"), but their stay at the Tanner residence is short-lived; they immediately start packing up to move into Becky's apartment as newlyweds. It's brutal, especially on Michelle, who makes Jesse so sad that we get this iconic single tear:

And that's pretty much spot-on for how a lot of people are feeling about "Fuller House," since not every single person from the cast is going to make it onto the show — looking at you, Olsen twins — and because the premise of the new series revolves around DJ suffering a family tragedy of her own.

2. It offers a glimpse into Stephanie's future.

Throughout the episode, Stephanie struggles with figuring out how to solve math problems using fractions. "I'm going to be stuck in third grade forever," she complains. "I'm going to be the only 100-year-old lady with a Barbie lunchbox!" So, expect Stephanie to undergo the "Billy Madison" treatment come "Fuller House."

3. It offers a glimpse into DJ and Kimmy's futures.

The two best friends are going to be two of the main players in "Fuller House," and while there's not a ton here, there is one moment of note: DJ and Kimmy swooping in and eating a cupcake right off of Stephanie's plate, chewing on her math problem and spitting it out. Probably a good bet that we'll see a lot more ganging up on Steph in the new series.

4. It offers a glimpse into Joey's future.

Joey is the man who provides the cupcake to help Steph with her math woes. When the kids eat up the cupcake, he makes a solemn vow: "Next time I help with a math question, I'm using liver." He will be 15 years into his training at the knee of Hannibal Lecter when "Fuller House" begins.

5. "Goodbye, Michelle."

Can't emphasize this enough: Michelle fans, prep yourselves now for her absence on "Fuller House." Perhaps another cute youngster will come along with Pinky the Pig and a desire to hear the Teddy Bear Song, but not Michelle. Brace yourselves accordingly.

6. Not everything will change.

"When you came in here, you were an Elvis-obsessed, motorcycle-riding rock and roller," Danny says to Jesse as he helps him pack up. "And now? Well, your hair is shorter in the back." That observation comes four years after the "Full House" premiere. Given the fact that John Stamos hasn't really aged since then, Jesse probably won't have changed all that much in the intervening years.

7. It has an improbably happy ending.

Jesse and Becky decide they're too homesick to live apart from the Tanners, so they end up moving into the attic. Hooray! Everyone lives happily ever after, even if that's definitely not how this would work out in real life. But that's what makes "Full House" fun, and it's very likely going to be a big part of "Fuller House" when it premieres. Who doesn't enjoy against-all-odds happiness at the end of the day?

8. It has one line that you should take to heart.

Danny and Joey suck at singing the Teddy Bear Song to Michelle without Jesse, and everyone in the room knows it. They comfort Michelle with the following advice: "The sooner you fall asleep, the sooner Uncle Jesse will be here!" Did you hear that, kids? Go take a nap, and before you know it, "Fuller House" will be ready and willing to stream.

9. Oh, it has Comet.

But the new show will not have Comet. He is dead. Sorry for the bummer of a bombshell, but we all need to start getting used to this.

Rest in peace, old friend.
