Matt Damon Brought Some Serious Star Power To 'The Martian' Premiere

I'm gonna need a little space to process this. (Get it?)

Yes, yes, we know it was just a few days ago that Matt Damon wowed us with his bare torso in the first picture from the new "Bourne" set, but now the actor has gone and done something else; something totally out of this world.

"The Martian," which stars Damon as an astronaut who is stranded on Mars after his crew mistakes him for dead in a freak accident, premiered Friday (Sept. 11) at the Toronto International Film Festival. It's a hefty role for Damon -- he's alone most of the time, the swirling red landscapes of Mars stretching on as far as the eye can see. Think "Gravity," but with humor.

Damon and his castmates clearly had a blast in Toronto showing off the film to eager audiences for the first time. Check it out:
