Harley Quinn's been doing pretty well for herself lately. She's always been a fan favorite "Batman" character since she first appeared in the animated series, but now she's got her own solo-led comic series, a leading role in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie, a chance to star on the cover of everyone else's comics this past February, and a recently-wrapped up mini-series where she teams up with Power Girl.
Now, Harley's getting yet another chance to mix it up with other iconic DC characters in "Harley's Little Black Book," another team-up series that starts in December and will feature the same creative team as her solo title, Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. We're sure they've already got the new series totally plotted out already, but if not, here are some DC Comic stars we want to see show up in Harley's book:
Wonder WomanDC Comics
Okay, this might not be fair because we know this one is definitely happening -- it's on the very first cover of "Harvey's Little Black Book!" -- but it's seriously about time these two got to hang out. After all, Harley used to be an Amazon once! Kinda. She was in an Amazon-run women's shelter, that's the closest you can get without being a goddess yourself.
Harley and Batgirl both got really cool makeovers recently -- maybe they can bond with one another over it?
Kate Kane would probably not be here for Harley's antics at all and that would be amazing. Awesome, bet Harley flirts with her hardcore. You know she's got a thing for hard-nosed redheads.
Supergirl's generally known for being bright and upbeat, but we know the New 52 version of her has a dark side -- heck, she was even a member of the super-angry Red Lanterns. So how will she fare against the kooky clown that used to be her nemesis in the animated series?
Harley might be a bit insane, but she's also a consummate show business professional. She definitely won't ruin all of Zatanna's very serious magic tricks, and it definitely wouldn't be hilarious and totally awesome if she did. No sir. Nope.
Coriandr (yes that's her real name) and Harley have a lot in common! They're both bubbly and naive, people love them from their cartoon appearances, and then in the new 52 they were rebooted as kind of uninteresting sexpots before comic writers Amanda Connor and Jimmy Palmiotti managed to make them fun again.
Black CanaryDC Comics
The two had an interesting friendship in the "Injustice: Gods Among Us" series, but now Dinah is making her own way while on tour with a band in her new solo comic. Maybe they could stop by a Coney Island venue for an issue?
Now that she runs a crime syndicate, the relationship between these two former Gotham City Sirens might take on an interesting new dynamic.
Poison IvyDC Comics
I mean, duh.
Thanks to the animated "Arrow" and "Flash" tie-in on CW Seed, Vixen's going to be getting a lot of new TV fans. Why not capitalize on that by making her more prominent in the comics and linking to her to one of DC's most popular characters?
Olive and MapsDC Comics
What’s that you say? Olive and Maps are high schoolers in the "Gotham Academy" comic and not superheroes? Lol, don’t care. They are adorable and so is Harley and they could have the most exciting adventures together and it would be the best, you're welcome.
