50 Cent’s ‘Power’ Just Got Him Another Massive Lawsuit

Fif's being sued for a ton of money.

50 Cent has another lawsuit on his hands.

The rapper, who filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, is being sued by Larry Johnson, a writer who says “Power” is based on his “Tribulations of a Ghetto Kid” manuscript. According to TMZ, Johnson claims he sent the script to G-Unit Books’ Nikki Turner in 2005. He believes Turner shared the script with Fif.

“Power” debuted on Starz in 2014.

So, what are some of the similarities Johnson sees between “Tribulations” and “Power?” The main character in both has a goatee and owns a popular nightclub. Both have best friends who have “a short fuse.”

Here’s another connection: Johnson often uses Ghost as his pen name. In case you don't watch the show, Ghost is the main character’s name in “Power.”

Johnson is asking for $200 million.

In June, 50 told MTV News that "Power" often draws from his personal experiences in many ways.
