The U.S. Open’s most buzz-worthy showdown thus far went down in New York City on Tuesday night (Sep. 8), when Serena Williams defeated her sister, Venus.

It was a predictably dramatic family affair, with such high stakes on the line (Serena’s gunning for her fourth Grand Slam title this year, which would make her the first woman to do so since 1988), so it should come as no surprise that two Kardashian sisters were in attendance. After all, everyone knows the Klan’s penchant for drama — they serve it up on the reg on their reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian attended the match together, accompanied by one of the hottest young couples on the radar today: Kendall’s model BFF Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Joe Jonas. Together, the group experienced plenty of highs and lows during the course of the back-and-forth match, making them almost as exciting to watch as the Williams sisters themselves. Let’s take a closer look…

Kim and Kendall left their hotel looking *super psyched* for the match and sporting similar long coats over their shoulders.

We're sure fashion guru Serena would definitely approve of their super chic ensembles.

Meanwhile, Joe and Gigi took a more casual route with their wardrobe; Joe sported a graphic tee while Gigi opted for a jean jacket.

"Do I have anything in my teeth though?" -Gigi to Joe, probably.

Inside, Joe made some intense AF eye contact with people trying to take his photo.

Kendall and Gigi were a little confused by all the action going on.

We get it... tennis scoring is weird.

But they were ultimately riveted... we think.

As riveted as we were by Kendall's cute fuzzy crop top, no doubt.

And they were all smiles when Serena scored.

At least, we're guessing the group was Team Serena, given Kim's oh-so-posh tea party with the tennis star the night before.

Gigi got a little tired from cheering, though, and had to take a rest on her BF's shoulder.

AWWWW.

And their PDA kinda maybe made Kendall feel like a third wheel.

But it's OK, because she had her pal Cully Smoller to keep her company.

They were a little confused when someone tried to get their attention.

"New phone, who dis?" -G.I. Joe's expressions.

But then they were all, "AYYY, WHAT UP GIRL?!"

And ultimately, these BFFs had a blast being the second most fabulous girl duo in the building that night.
