OMG, The 'Pretty Little Liars' Opening Is Getting A Major Update

Somewhere, Lucy Hale is currently happy dancing.

"Pretty Little Liars" is getting a makeover just in time for its five-year time jump.

On Monday, "PLL" co-creator Marlene King confirmed the news we've all been waiting for: "Pretty Little Liars" is getting a new opening sequence! "Fun new intro when we come back in January," she tweeted. "Everyone gets a turn to shhh."

Everyone. Gets. A. Turn. To. Shhhh. Hallelujah! We've been waiting for this moment for YEARS.

We're not entirely sure whether The Pierces' "Secret" -- the song hand-picked by Ashley Benson -- will remain the show's theme song or not, but we honestly can't imagine "PLL" without it, so we hope they don't change it. That being said, we couldn't be more excited for the new intro. Ever since Ali was revealed to be alive it just didn't fit with the show anymore. Plus, now we get to see all the Liars' fabulous new looks!

It's only fitting that the time jump would inspire a new opening title sequence. And it couldn't come a moment too soon for Lucy Hale. The actress has been annoyed at the original sequence, featuring her iconically off-centered "shhhh," for years.

"It’s not centered and it really bugs me," she told Andy Cohen on a recent episode of Watch Watch Happens: Live! "You do a shoot all day and they choose a take where my finger was over here [gestures to side of her face], and I get crap for it all the time."

Don't worry, Lucy. Now all of the Liars will get to experience your pain. Here's hoping the "PLL" Powers That Be choose the most symmetric takes this time around.
