Force Friday is upon us, and no matter how excited you are to play around with your new app-controlled BB-8 (we know, you've very excited), no one is more ecstatic than John Boyega and Daisy Ridley.
The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" stars joined forces (pun intended) last night -- or, you know, earlier this morning -- to ring in #ForceFriday with hundreds of "Star Wars" superfans who lined up outside the Disney Store on Oxford Street in London. Once inside, Boyega and Ridley, perfect humans, signed toys, took photos with fans and totally freaking the eff out over all the awesome new merchandise, duh.
For Boyega and Ridley, who play Finn and Rey, respectively, in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," this was the first time they got to see their likeness on the new toys. It was an emotional moment for everyone involved, especially Boyega, who got to sign his very own action figure for his no. 1 fan, his dad.
Boyega was so overwhelmed, he couldn't quite believe what was happening. "I am a toy! I am a toy! I am a toy!" he repeatedly said. Yeah, man. YOU ARE A TOY.
Meanwhile, Ridley -- who wore a sweet pair of "Star Wars" Vans, btw -- shared her own thoughts on all the new "Star Wars" merch on Instagram, where she posted a video of her face on a skateboard deck, among other goodies.
As hyped as we are for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" this December, we might even more obsessed with Boyega and Ridley. If their chemistry is as good on-screen as it is off-screen, we're in for quite a special treat.
