If it wasn't awesome enough that Lauren Conrad is (finally!!!) making her New York Fashion Week debut, she's also documenting the entire process along the way. She and Kohl's teamed up to share all the behind-the-scenes footage as she preps for her first LC Lauren Conrad Runway Collection, and TBH, it's making us wish September 9 wasn't so far away. In the first two episodes of her three-part series, she shares her design process and beauty inspiration. Let's take a look!
In the first vid, LC explains how she took rustic, boho pieces and paired them with polished, refined looks. "It's beautiful and romantic, but still tailored and pulled together." Her "enchanted woodlands" theme promises lots of tulle and vintage-inspired looks on the runway. "It's just putting those little sweet touches onto things so they make them a little more exciting." OoOOoHhh.
Hair, Makeup and Styling
When it comes to hair and makeup, Lauren called on all her go-to girls–longtime makeup artist Amy Nadine and her (now infamous) hair stylist Kristin Ess. For the hair, LC loves textured braids, ponytails and–of course–bobs, and for the makeup, she wants her models to be strong yet romantic with Jane Austen-inspired beauty looks. After seeing some of the final ensembles styled together, we already can tell we are in for a T-R-E-A-T next week. Oh, and we already call dibs on that blue suede motorcycle jacket. (Sorry.)
