Watch These People Find Out How Successful Their Friends And Family Thinks They Are

You rock, like, way harder than you realize.

How do you define success? Your job? Your grades? Your bank account balance? If the answer to any of those question is "yes," you may unaware of exactly how proud the people in your life are of you, and how successful you really are.

In this powerful video by A Plus, people were asked to rate their own success level, on a scale of one to 10. The participants gave themselves grades that ranged from 4 to 8.8, listing reasons like, "It's really hard to feel successful when a lot of things are variables in your life" and "I don't think I'm in a job that I want to be doing for the rest of my life" for giving themselves the score that they did.

The narrative changed, however, when the same peoples' loved ones were asked to score their level of success. Numbers from loved ones ranged from 9.7 to 11, and, perhaps more surprisingly, the ways that loved ones defined success was different. Reasons for high scores included things like "He's never satisfied with mediocre or less than 110%," and "She just has so much fun in life."

Huh. Suddenly that one bad grade doesn't seem like quite as big of a deal.
