Michael Fassbender Makes Shakespeare Sexy In The 'Macbeth' Trailer

Fair is foul, and foul is fair?

The only thing more wicked than what's coming for the people of Scotland in the first trailer for "Macbeth" is the sting of our crush on Michael Fassbender. The talented Irishman takes on the titular role in Justin Kurzel's adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy, with Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard playing his scheming lady. The film will keep the classic Medieval Scotland setting and the dark tone that you read back in high school, but based on the trailer, Fassbender and Cotillard's performances should offer something new for Shakespeare fans around the globe:

"Macbeth" hits theaters on December 4.
