Lauren Conrad Finally Addresses Heidi Montag's 'She Tried To Ruin My Life' Rant

The 'Hills' star opens up in the latest issue of 'Cosmopolitan'.

Eons ago, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag were best pals -- but after a "sucky person" (Spencer Pratt) entered the picture, the "Hills" friendship went kaput in dramatic fashion. While one-half of Speidi recently stated -- during an emotional segment on "Marriage Boot Camp" -- that she forgave her former pal for "trying to ruin" her life, what does Mrs. Tell think about this somewhat surprising statement?

"I'm not really involved in that anymore," the fashion designer -- who appears on the cover of the October issue of Cosmopolitan -- tells the magazine about Heids' tear-filled comment. "I don't think it has anything to do with me. You just have to focus on the good people in your life. Focusing on what you lose is only going to make you sad."

Since we're on the topic of Lauren's former co-stars, the lifestyle maven did make a funny admission about her former flame Brody Jenner. More specifically, the DJ's recent sex and dating talk show.

"My husband told me [about it]," the 29-year-old revealed. "I didn't know! … He has a lot of experience … so sure, depending on what kind of advice you want." Oh, to be a fly on the wall with the Tells watching this candid program.

And while the Laguna Beach native said toodaloo to the small screen more than five years ago, the experience did make her a much stronger person in the end.

"When I did television, scandal was always around me," she added. "And I think one of the best things [about that] for me is that your life becomes more big-picture. You have to develop a thick skin really quickly. It toughened me up, which is good."
