Every Time Kim Kardashian Went To The VMAs And Shut It Down

She wore what to the 2008 VMAs?!

While her only musical contribution, "Jam (Turn it Up)," has never been nominated for any Video Music Awards, Kim Kardashian has still managed to make quite the impression on MTV's VMAs. Whether she turns up with her sisters or all on her own, this selfie queen loves the red carpet.

With her husband, Kanye, set to receive the Video Vanguard Award tonight (Aug. 30) at 9 p.m. ET, I have my fingers crossed Kim will give us another appearance to add to this list. Meanwhile, walk down VMA memory lane with me!

For her first appearance at the VMAs, Kim wore a plaid skirt with a yellow top and red heels. No, Kim wasn't as glam as we now know her to be, but she was still looking flawless.

Heading to the VMA afterparty, Kim dressed to the nines, highlighting her stunning shape in a shimmering gold dress. She definitely gave us Marilyn Monroe feels.

While she wasn't physically at the 2010 show, Kim did appear via video to introduce a performance by the hottest new pop sensation at the time: Justin Bieber.

“Apparently, in the eyes of the law, my admiration for Justin is inappropriate, and a little creepy,” Kim said in her introduction. “But luckily, MTV understands, and they’re letting me introduce Justin from 51 feet away, which puts me backstage, next to his dressing room, where I’ll be waiting.”

Stunning in a long silver, open-backed dress, Kim clearly was no longer a stranger to the carpet.

Kim K. didn't make it to the awards show but she did feature in a VMA promo alongside her now-hubby, Kanye West, and former VMA host, Kevin Hart.
