It's official -- Black Widow and Captain America are breaking up the squad.
Well, okay, technically Iron Man and Captain America are breaking up the squad in "Captain America: Civil War" by forcing all of their fellow Avengers to choose sides. But as we've learned from the concept art that leaked today (August 27) -- and later seemingly confirmed by Jeremy Renner on Twitter, Black Widow's not on Cap's side this time like she was in "Winter Soldier." Man, do we have so many sad Widow-Cap-Falcon friendship feels right now.
Check out the full line-up in Renner's tweets, below:
(If you're looking for Ant-Man, he's on Hawkeye's shoulder. Awww.)
While it's surprising that Black Widow's defected to Iron Man's team, it makes sense considering that they're both way more pragmatic and cynical than Steve Rogers is. What's even more surprising is how prominently Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp) factors in to the team. Plus, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) is a good guy again! Yaaay!
But where's Scarlet Witch? How do she and Spider-Man fit into all of this? Guess we'll find out next year!
"Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters May 6, 2016.
