Kelly Clarkson Slays The Cover Game Again With Selena Gomez's 'The Heart Wants What It Wants'

America's idol has done it again.

Given the fact that Kelly Clarkson got waved through to the big leagues mostly due, at first, to her amazing ability to sing anything like a champ on "American Idol's" inaugural season, her tradition of throwing in a rendition of another artist's song, of her fans' choosing, at each and every show is pretty cool.

Especially since, you know, she nails it every. single. time.

Case in point: Selena Gomez's "The Heart Wants What It Wants," which she belted out at her Phoenix, Arizona tour stop on Tuesday (Aug. 26).

"This is one of my favorites," Clarkson said of Gomez's 2014 pop number before she performed it. "I also love her too; she's a pretty sweet girl."

Clarkson, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Brandon Blackstock, is currently on tour for Piece By Piece, her seventh studio album since becoming "The Original American Idol" winner in 2002. The tour, which began in July, will wrap up on Nov. 20 in London, England.
