Actress Jennifer Lawrence, well-known for her love of junk food, her phenomenal acting skills and her candid interviews (among other things) just took candid to a whole new level: during an early press interview for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2," Lawrence let it slip that she's co-writing a movie with "Trainwreck" scribe and star Amy Schumer.
While speaking with the New York Times this morning (August 26), Lawrence mentioned that the new friends have made headway on a script for a movie they will co-star in. Lawrence and Schumer will play sisters.
“Amy and I were creatively made for each other," Lawrence told the Times. "We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing ‘Trainwreck.’”
No title, plot or genre has been revealed yet, but with Lawrence and Schumer heading the operation both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, we can only assume that the eventual end product will be hilarious.
And, hey, maybe all those pics they snapped together when they vacationed in Martha's Vineyard can be used as family vacay prop pics in the movie? Just a thought.
