Back when we interviewed Gigi Gorgeous about what it was like working with Miley Cyrus on her #InstaPride campaign, she teased us about a secret project they were working on, and now we have an idea of what she was hinting at.

In addition to shooting the September cover for Marie Claire, Miley also brought in Gigi to shoot her own spread for the mag. Gigi was interviewed about what it was like being on set for Miley's cover shoot and what it's like living in a time of heightened awareness for the trans community.

"I think it's amazing—honestly bottom line *amazing.* I do think it's long overdue; we've been out here for a while and kind of creating our own things, but it's so great to see the spotlight that's being shone on this community," she explained. "And Miley Cyrus is just...what an incredible woman, to take her time and show just how passionate she is about everyone being accepted and finding their place. She's shedding a light, and it's inspiring to see how the moment is really now."

Gigi gushed about working with Miley, saying she was "so carefree, but so professional" during their shoot. While she lauds Miley for her activism in the LGBTQ+ community, she also praises Caitlyn Jenner for her work.

"I think she is a powerful force and really such a huge part of history now," she said. "What she's done and what she's achieved—she's such a strong force."

Based on how fun this shoot looked, we imagine (and hope!) this isn't the last time Miley and Gigi work together.
