Banksy Allegedly Built A Creepy Cinderella Castle That Disney Definitely Isn’t Gonna Like

The famous graffiti artist may have turned a Disney icon into a child’s worst nightmare.

If you think the "It's A Small World" ride at Disney World is unpleasant, then you haven't seen anything yet.

There's been speculation that mysterious graffiti artist Banksy has built a dark ode to Disney World called Dismaland in Weston-super-Mare, a seaside town in England.

Rumors of Banksy's involvement started when Holly Cushing, Banksy's apparent manager, was spotted on-site talking to security guards. Cushing also recently registered a company called "Dismaland Ltd." Intrigue!

Banksy's artwork is rooted in subversion with a focus on social and political commentary. The fact that no one knows his true identity -- or if some works are even by him at all -- helps add to the mystery and messaging of his artwork.

Taking one look at the dilapidated rendition of Sleeping Beauty's Castle from Disney Land, a giant horse made of metal poles and a creepy AF sculpture of a giant haunted-looking pinwheel, you can tell he's not a fan of the Disney company.

And if those works of art don't give you the shivers, there's also a giant S-shaped gasoline tanker called "Big Rig Jig" reportedly by American artist Mike Ross that looks straight out of a nightmare.

If this sounds like somewhere you'd want to be and you're in the Bristol, England area, you're in luck. Dismaland opens this Friday, August 21. Good luck sleeping after you go, though.
