Jay Rock Channels Hannibal Lecter In Action-Packed '90059' Video

SZA lends a hand and Jay Rock gets chased by cops.

Just one day after previewing his upcoming 90059 LP in Los Angeles, Jay Rock has unleashed the title track's music video.

The clip -- which dropped Monday (Aug. 17) -- is an action-packed adventure that includes Hannibal Lecter-inspired scenes and a thrilling police chase. Here's a look at how "90059" unfolds.

  • You get to enjoy SZA's melodies (and a glimpse into another Jay Rock track).

The scary movie reference reminds us of Ab-Soul's "Black Lip Bastard" remix, where Rock told us this was "Hannibal Lecter music." Now, we get to see the classic 1991 "Silence of the Lambs" character influence one of his vids, too.

While this is meant to whet your appetite for 90059, Jay Rock's also got more tricks up his sleeve. As MTV News learned yesterday, the Watts MC is joined by his fellow Black Hippy members on the album's "Vice City" cut. Busta Rhymes, Isaiah Rashad and (as you saw in the vid) SZA are all slated to show up on the effort.

But what about a release date? During the LP listening sesh, he said he might drop it unexpectedly. So be ready.
