Hailee Steinfeld is on a mission of love.
The actress turned singer has just released the music video for her infectious debut single, "Love Myself," and she's encouraging people to do just that.
Steinfeld, who is officially on board for "Pitch Perfect 3," is seen dancing on a rooftop belting out the lyrics of her up-tempo and empowering single -- "I’m gonna put my body first/ And love me so hard ’til it hurts/," she sings.
The video, which was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, is intercut with people walking the streets of the city, but are distracted as they strut past a mirror with the hashtag #lovemyself staring back at them. Some dance, others kiss, some check if they have food in their teeth, while others fix their hair. Either way, they are feeling the message of the pure pop dance track.
Steinfeld, whose fashion is on-point in the video -- especially with that "self service" one-piece -- joins in on the fun, posing in the mirror and eventually having a full-on dance party in the street.
"We're fed this false sort of sense of what we're supposed to be like in order to love ourselves," Hailee told Z100. "I think this song...kind of highlights the power of loving yourself and empowering yourself."
